The Ghana Police after the president’s speech indicating the surge in the second wave of the Covid-19 has tightened the enforcement of wearing of the nose mask.
Earlier this week, the Police have been spotted at various checkpoints in the cities arresting who is found not wearing a nose mask. Hundreds of people without masks were arrested and forced to buy and wear them.
In the last President Akufo Addo speech, the total number of people infected by the Covid-19 virus is highly climbing faster than expected therefore people should make the wearing of nose masks mandatory to avoid the spread of the virus.
As of today 25th Of January, 2021, the total number of Covid-19 Active cases is 3,613 with 372 deaths.
